Popular Questions

  • What are your business hours?

We offer flexible meetings around your requirements.  We understand that our clients often need meetings outside the traditional Monday to Friday 9-5!

  • Where is your office?

Wildcat Law is not like a traditional high street or City law firm, we bring high quality lawyers to you.  Meetings will be typically held via video conference  but we also offer the ability to meet at a location convenient to you.

  • Will you charge for an initial chat?

    In a word, NO.

All intial conversations are at our expenses.  We want to find out if you have a matter we can assist with.  If we can't then we will tell you and if appropriate, point you in the right direction of someone who can.

  • What are your fees?

We believe in being fully transparent, we will provide you with an engagement letter prior to work being undertaken.

Typically our hourly fees range from:

    £140 to £500 per hour.

Dependent upon the legal professional involved and their level of experience.

We also offer fixed fees for many issues.  We will agree with you the most appropriate charging method.

  • Why should I use Wildcat Law?

Wildcat Law lawyers conduct meetings primarily via TEAM's video calls on your phone, laptop, tablet or PC!

Wildcat Law also has a Chartered Wealth Manager available to assist with complex legal matters that involve investments and financial instruments.

We promise to speak to you in plain English and be open and realistic in our advice.

Wildcat Law's founders come from the Bar and extensive Private Banking/Wealth Management experience.  Our legal team have been reported in both the legal and mainstream press on numerous matters. They have had multiple entries in the Legal 500 and Spears 500.

So although we may have a different approach we do so because we know what works for our clients and their cases.

  • What areas of law can you help with?

We offer an extensive range of legal services aimed at Individuals, Families, Trusts and Businesses.

Have a look at our Areas of Law page for more details or Contact Us to discuss your case.  If we can't help we will always try to point you to someone who can.

  • How do you differ to a Direct Access Barrister?

We offer a "Third way" service.  Although our services are often Barrister led, we use a range of lawyers and legal associates  on a matter to ensure the most cost effective solution to our clients.

Have a look at Our Services page for more details or speak to us directly.

  • Do you do Legal Aid work?

We do not do Legal Aid work.

"I can't praise their service enough.  We tried to administer our Mum's estate ourselves but struggled with the amount of forms required.  We thought using a law firm would just be too expensive, but in the end it was a lot less than I expected and frankly a lot easier."
